Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions

By using Verificare you accept the terms set out below, so please read them before you play.

Last updated: 27 October 2026

1. Who these terms cover

These terms apply to everyone who visits or plays on theverificare.com. In them, “Verificare”, “the site”, “we” and “us” refer to this website and to the operator running it, whom you can reach at any time through our contact form.

2. What the site offers

Verificare is a free social gaming site. It gives you 31 slot-style games to play in your browser, and they are there for entertainment only.

  • No real money involved. Nothing on the site involves deposits, withdrawals or purchases, and you cannot stake real money here in any way.
  • No prizes. No game outcome earns you cash, a prize or anything else with real-world value.
  • Not a preview of real gambling. Your results in our free games say nothing about how you would do if you gambled for money.
  • Reminders about time. While you are on the site, a message appears every 30 minutes to tell you how long you have been playing.

3. Who may play

  • The site is for adults aged 18 or over only. You confirm this when you first arrive by answering the age question, and anyone who has done so can open and play any game without logging in or creating an account.
  • The site is intended for people living in the United Kingdom, so please do not use it from elsewhere.
  • If you are under 18, please leave the site now. Parents and carers can find advice on keeping children away from adult content on our Responsible Gaming page.

4. About virtual credits

Every game provides virtual credits to play with, purely for fun. They have no monetary value. Credits cannot be bought, sold, traded, transferred, withdrawn or redeemed, and nothing, whether money, goods or services, can be obtained in exchange for them. We do not top them up or restore them, we owe you nothing if they are lost, and they may be reset, for example when you clear your browser data.

5. Optional accounts

  • You do not need an account to play. If you would like one, you can create it free with an email address and password or through Google. It holds your name, email address, date of birth and your confirmation that you are 18 or over and live in the UK, and it gives you access to the account page, where you can view your details, pause, restrict or delete your account and reset your password.
  • Give accurate details and keep your password private. If you think someone else has accessed your account, let us know. You are responsible for whatever happens through it.
  • One person may hold one account. Do not register on behalf of someone else or use an account that belongs to another person.
  • As a protection, five wrong password attempts will pause sign-in for 15 minutes.
  • You can delete your account yourself at any time from My account. The Privacy Policy describes how your details are handled.

6. How we expect you to behave

By using the site you agree that you will not:

  • break the law or misuse the site, its forms or its sign-in process;
  • try to gain unauthorised access to the site, our systems or anyone else’s account;
  • use bots, scrapers, exploits or any other automated tool to play, copy or overload the site or its games;
  • try to buy, sell or trade accounts or virtual credits;
  • send us spam, or messages that are abusive, misleading or unlawful;
  • copy, frame or redistribute the games or the site’s content in any way other than through the site as we provide it.

If these terms are broken, we may suspend or close the account involved, or restrict access to the site.

7. Outside developers and other services

The games are made by outside developers and run inside our pages, served from our own domain, theverificare.com. Each developer keeps the rights in their game, and a game may keep its own settings or credit balances in your browser and set its own cookies. If you choose “Continue with Google”, Google’s terms and privacy policy apply to that sign-in. Links to other websites, such as GamCare and BeGambleAware, take you to services that we do not control.

8. Rights in the content

The site’s design, text and branding belong to us or to those who license them to us, while the games belong to their developers. You may view and play them for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Any other use, including copying and reuse, requires our permission in advance.

9. Limits on our responsibility

  • The site and games are provided “as is” and “as available”. We cannot promise that they will always be available, work without interruption or be free of faults, and we may change or remove games at any time.
  • Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
  • Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that could not reasonably have been foreseen as a result of our breach, for the loss of virtual credits (which have no value), or for problems caused by your device, browser or connection. Because the site is free and offered for entertainment, our liability to you in connection with it is limited as far as the law allows.

10. Stopping or being stopped

You may stop using the site whenever you wish, and you can delete your account yourself. If you would like a break, or want your account restricted or deleted, you can also ask Support. We may close any account that breaches these terms.

11. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time, and the date at the top of the page shows when they last changed. By continuing to use the site after an update, you accept the revised terms. These terms are governed by English and Welsh law, and any dispute may be brought in the courts of England and Wales, although this does not affect rights you have under the law of the part of the UK where you live.

12. Getting in touch

If any part of these terms is unclear, you can reach us by email [email protected] or our contact form.
